CVE-2025-12444Network attack vector

UI spoofing via incorrect fullscreen security indicators

Published Nov 10, 2025 · Updated Nov 10, 2025

Incorrect security UI in Fullscreen UI in Google Chrome before 142.0.7444.59 allows remote attackers to spoof browser UI via a crafted page. Google identifies the locus as Fullscreen UI but has not published which state transition or indicator-rendering operation mishandles the crafted content. Exploitation requires user interaction with specific UI gestures, and the reported consequence is deceptive browser UI rather than arbitrary code execution.
