Unauthenticated location disclosure via unrestricted get_location action
Published Dec 12, 2025 · Updated Dec 12, 2025
Information exposure in Events Manager 7.2.2.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to read restricted location data via get_location. The get_location AJAX handler accepts an attacker-supplied location ID, loads the corresponding EM_Location object, and serializes its field array without checking publication state, password protection, or requester authorization. No authentication or user interaction is required; password-protected, private, and draft locations can be disclosed, while modification and service interruption are not reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
