Stored cross-site scripting via unchecked admin request
Published Nov 18, 2025 · Updated Nov 18, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Project Honey Pot Spam Trap 1.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject stored scripts through forged requests. The printAdminPage() function accepts settings changes without valid nonce verification, allowing attacker-controlled script content to be stored. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to act on a crafted link or equivalent request, after which the stored script executes in affected administrative browsing contexts.
