Stored XSS via nonce-free settings update
Published Nov 18, 2025 · Updated Nov 18, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Like-it 2.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to store malicious scripts through an administrator's browser. The likeit_conf() settings handler accepts a forged state-changing request without valid nonce verification and writes attacker-controlled script content into plugin settings. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to submit the crafted request, after which the stored script executes when the affected output is rendered.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
