CVE-2025-12402Network attack vector

Stored cross-site scripting via forged admin request

Published Nov 4, 2025 · Updated Nov 4, 2025

Cross-site request forgery in LinkedIn Resume 2.00 and earlier allows remote attackers to store malicious scripts through plugin settings. The linkedinresume_printAdminPage() function accepts settings changes without valid nonce verification, allowing attacker-controlled script content to be saved. A site administrator must be tricked into submitting the forged request; the stored script then executes in a later visitor's browser.
