Cross-tenant SQL injection via unsanitized column aliases

SQL injection in Google Looker Studio before 2025-07-21 allows remote authenticated users with report view access to alter BigQuery data. The batchedDataV2 endpoint inserts attacker-controlled dynamic column aliases into generated BigQuery SQL without adequate sanitization. A shared BigQuery-backed report and viewer access are required; successful queries run with the report owner’s permissions and can read, modify, or delete accessible data.
