Unauthenticated tracking-consent changes via unchecked capability
Published Nov 18, 2025 · Updated Nov 18, 2025
Missing authorization in Triple-A Cryptocurrency Payment Gateway for WooCommerce 2.0.25 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter tracking consent. The handle_optin_optout function processes opt-in and opt-out requests without checking a WordPress capability before updating the stored telemetry preference. Unauthenticated network access is sufficient; the observed consequence is limited to enabling or disabling plugin tracking.
