Subscriber-level settings deletion via unchecked AJAX action
Published Dec 5, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in Takeads 1.0.13 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete the WordPress plugin's configuration options. The AJAX handler in src/MLP_Ajax.php performs the settings-deletion action without a capability check that restricts it to administrators. Any authenticated subscriber can trigger the action, erasing monetization settings without reading data or disrupting the WordPress host.
