Subscriber-level user directory disclosure via unchecked AJAX action
Published Dec 19, 2025 · Updated Dec 19, 2025
Missing authorization in myCred 2.9.7.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to disclose WordPress user account details. The get_bank_accounts AJAX action returns every user's ID, display name, and email address without checking for an administrative capability. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; passwords are not returned, and the reported consequence is limited to account-directory disclosure.
