Unauthenticated email dispatch via exposed AJAX hook
Published Nov 19, 2025 · Updated Nov 19, 2025
Missing authentication in Icegram Express 5.9.10 and earlier allows remote attackers to trigger queued email delivery through WordPress AJAX. The plugin exposes trigger_mailing_queue_sending through a wp_ajax_nopriv hook and invokes ig_es_cron_worker without capability or nonce checks. Any remote request can bypass campaign schedules, send pending messages, update queue state, and consume server and mail-delivery resources.
