Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025
Stored XSS in Matthew Deaves Willow CMS 1.4.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script in visitors' browsers. The Add Post handler accepts unsanitized article body content at /admin/articles/add, stores it, and renders it on public homepage views. Administrator privileges are required to plant the content; any homepage visitor can then have attacker-supplied JavaScript run in the browser.
