Stored script execution via review-field sanitization bypass
Published Mar 19, 2025 · Updated Mar 19, 2025
Stored XSS in Gemini Labs Site Reviews before 7.2.5 allows remote attackers to execute scripts via crafted review fields. The review submission path stores crafted markup from the review-text field after bypassable sanitization, and the Latest Reviews block renders it without safe escaping. No authentication is required to submit the payload; execution requires a visitor or administrator to view content containing the Latest Reviews block.
