Stored script execution via unencoded category name
Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025
Stored XSS in Code Projects Simple Food Ordering System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in users' browsers via pname. The editcategory.php handler stores the category-name value without adequate validation, and category.php renders that value without output encoding. No authentication is required to submit the input, but another user must view the affected category content; execution remains in that user's browser context.
