Unauthenticated SQL injection via raw Username query
Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025
SQL injection in SourceCodester Point of Sales 1.0 allows remote attackers to access its database through a crafted Username login parameter. The /index.php login handler places the Username value directly into a MySQL query without sanitization, validation, or parameter binding. No prior login is required; the demonstrated time-based blind technique can enumerate database contents and alter data within the application's database privileges.
