Crash or code execution via unbounded sprintf
Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025
Buffer overflow in Tenda CH22 Firmware 1.0.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to crash the web server or execute arbitrary code. The fromP2pListFilter function passes the user-controlled page parameter to sprintf, which writes into a fixed 256-byte buffer without a length check. The CNA scores the endpoint as requiring low privileges, while the public proof of concept states that no authentication is required; exploitation can interrupt the management interface or redirect program execution.
