Authenticated arbitrary file upload via client-side checks

Unrestricted file upload in LearnHouse 98dfad76aad70711a8113f6c1fdabfccf10509ca allows remote authenticated users to upload arbitrary thumbnails. The /api/v1/courses/ course thumbnail handler relies on client-side file restrictions and accepts the thumbnail parameter without equivalent server-side type validation. A valid low-privilege session is required; the demonstrated consequence is storage of attacker-chosen content, not code execution.
