CVE-2025-12259Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated memory corruption via unbounded recHour retrieval

Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in TOTOLINK A3300R 17.0.0cu.557_B20221024 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt process memory. The setScheduleCfg handler stores an unbounded recHour POST value with Uci_Set_Str, and getScheduleCfg later copies that stored value into stack storage through Uci_Get_Str. An authenticated management session is required; the published proof of concept demonstrates the overflow trigger, but not code execution.
