Unauthenticated database access via unsanitized ID
Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025
SQL injection in SourceCodester Online Student Result System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through the id parameter. The view_result.php handler places the unauthenticated GET id value directly into a SQL query without sanitization or parameter binding. No login is required, and published boolean-, error-, time-, and UNION-based payloads demonstrate query manipulation; broader host compromise depends on database privileges.
