Stored XSS via unsanitized Username storage
Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Code Projects Simple E-Banking System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript via Username. The register.php registration path inserts the attacker-controlled username into the users table, and later pages render it without neutralization. Registration requires no prior account, but exploitation changes stored application data and requires a user to load a page that displays the crafted name.
