Browser script execution via unencoded pass fields
Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Projectworlds Gate Pass Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in users' browsers. add-pass.php stores unsanitized Full Name or Reason values, and pass-view pages echo the values without HTML encoding. An authenticated user must create a pass and another user must view it; the script then runs in the viewer's browser session.
