Authenticated memory corruption via unbounded dmzIP retrieval
Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda O3 1.0.0.10(2478) allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via a crafted dmzIP value. The setDmzInfo handler passes the unbounded POST value to SetValue for wan1.dmzip or wan5.dmzip; getDmzInfo later copies it onto the stack without a boundary check. Low-privileged access to the management interface is required, and the public proof of concept demonstrates the oversized store-and-read sequence but not code execution.
