Authenticated memory corruption via unchecked DHCP value
Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda O3 1.0.0.10(2478) allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory through a DHCP setting. The /goform/setDhcpConfig handler stores the unbounded dhcpEn POST value as dhcps.en, and /goform/getDhcpConfig later copies it into a stack buffer without a boundary check. A valid management session is required; the public proof of concept demonstrates the overwrite path but does not document code execution.
