CVE-2025-12207Public exploit

Local service crash via malformed configuration parsing

Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025

Null pointer dereference in Kamailio SIP Server 5.5 allows local users to crash the service through a crafted configuration file. The yyerror_at error-reporting routine in src/core/cfg.y dereferences a null pointer while handling malformed grammar input. Reaching the path requires authority to replace or edit the server configuration; the project disputes the report and could not obtain the trigger files.
