System report disclosure via loose key comparison
Published Nov 5, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Information disclosure in The Events Calendar 6.15.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to obtain a full system report through its REST API. The sysinfo endpoint loosely compares an attacker-controlled Boolean key with the stored opt-in key, causing an invalid key to pass validation. Exposure requires automatic system-information sharing to be enabled and is limited to the report's contents.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
