Code execution via CSRF-driven arbitrary file upload
Published Dec 5, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Bread & Butter: AI-Powered Lead Intelligence 7.11.1374 and earlier allows remote attackers to upload files. The uploadImage() AJAX handler accepts an administrator's browser-submitted file without nonce validation, then writes its unvalidated name and contents into the WordPress uploads directory. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to open the attacker's link; an uploaded PHP file can execute code under the web server account.
