Authenticated log reset via unchecked AJAX capability
Published Nov 8, 2025 · Updated Nov 8, 2025
Missing authorization in Connect Contact Form 7 and AWeber 0.1.42 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to reset AWeber logs. The wp_ajax_aweber_logreset AJAX handler performs its log-reset operation without checking the caller's WordPress capability. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; the documented consequence is loss of AWeber log data, not broader settings changes.
