Authenticated book manipulation via unchecked object keys
Published Nov 11, 2025 · Updated Nov 11, 2025
Authorization bypass in The Total Book Project 1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter other users' books. Several AJAX chapter-management handlers trust a client-supplied book key without verifying that the requester owns the referenced book. Contributor-level access is sufficient to create, move, or delete chapters in books outside the requester's control, affecting stored content integrity.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
