Administrator object injection via unsafe course import
Published Nov 8, 2025 · Updated Nov 8, 2025
PHP object injection in Kodezen LLC Academy LMS 3.3.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject objects through course imports. The import_all_courses AJAX handler in includes/ajax/course.php deserializes attacker-controlled import data without restricting object creation. Administrator privileges are required, and consequences depend on a usable POP chain in another installed plugin or theme, including file deletion, data retrieval, or code execution.
