Browser script execution via unneutralized search fields
Published Feb 12, 2025 · Updated Feb 12, 2025
Stored XSS in Wazifa System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through firstname or lastname search fields. The searchuser function in /search_resualts.php places attacker-controlled firstname or lastname values into generated page content without adequate neutralization. An authenticated user must submit the payload and another user must view the affected results, causing script execution in that viewer's browser.
