Improper intent handling in Google Messages on Wear OS before 30-04-2025 allows attackers to send messages via ACTION_SENDTO intents. Google Messages accepts sms:, smsto:, mms:, and mmsto: URIs from other apps and sends the supplied recipient and body without confirmation. An installed app needs no messaging permission or further user interaction, and the consequence is unauthorized SMS, MMS, or RCS transmission.
