Unauthenticated command execution via exposed web interface
Published Dec 22, 2025 · Updated Dec 22, 2025
Missing authentication in all versions of Sharp Display Solutions Media Player MP-01 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. The web interface accepts requests without verifying authentication, exposing settings and command or program execution and accepting content pushed by authoring software. Network reachability is sufficient; successful access permits device configuration changes, arbitrary program execution, and delivery of displayed content.
