Subscriber-level service disconnection via unchecked AJAX endpoint
Published Nov 13, 2025 · Updated Nov 13, 2025
Missing authorization in Afosto Quicq for WebP images 2.0.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to disconnect Afosto. The wp_ajax_wpqai_disconnect_quicq_afosto AJAX endpoint performs the disconnection operation without checking the caller's WordPress capability. Subscriber-level access is sufficient to alter the plugin's Afosto connection state, with no reported confidentiality or availability impact.
