Authorization bypass in Wikimedia Foundation MediaWiki Lockdown Extension before 1.42 allows remote attackers to read restricted pages via Action API. ApiComparePages omits authorizeRead for ordinary pages and returns comparison data after checking only deleted pages and revisions. No authentication is required, but exploitation requires readable API access, a Lockdown-restricted page, and knowledge of its page ID.
