Unauthenticated stored XSS via subscriber name
Published Nov 12, 2025 · Updated Nov 12, 2025
Stored XSS in Easy Email Subscription 1.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through the public name field. The subscription handler stores the name value without sufficient sanitization, and a subscriber page renders the stored value without output escaping. No account is required; the script runs when a user accesses a page containing the stored subscriber name, enabling actions in that user's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
