CVE-2025-11971Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthorized pipelines via disabled mirror trigger bypass

Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 28, 2025

Incorrect authorization in GitLab EE allows remote authenticated users to trigger unauthorized pipeline executions through manipulated commits. Pull-mirror processing starts a downstream pipeline after an amended upstream commit is force-pushed even when mirror_trigger_builds is disabled. The attacker needs control of upstream commits, and a downstream mirror update can execute a pipeline that administrators explicitly disabled.
