Vault access via unauthorized temporary-request approval
Published Oct 22, 2025 · Updated Oct 22, 2025
Improper authorization in Devolutions Server 2025.2.12.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to access vaults via crafted API requests. The temporary access workflow accepts a user-controlled request identifier without enforcing that a basic user is authorized to approve it, enabling self-approval or approval of another user's request. A basic account and a pending temporary access request are required; successful exploitation exposes the vaults and entries authorized by the approved request.
