Browser script execution via emailed transcript injection
Published Oct 22, 2025 · Updated Oct 22, 2025
Stored XSS in Oct8ne Chatbot 2.3 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a recipient's browser through an emailed transcript. The /Records/SendSummaryMail endpoint places attacker-controlled transcript content into email output without neutralizing executable markup. A recipient must render the generated transcript email; execution can expose session cookies or issue actions with the recipient's authority.
