CVE-2025-11941Public exploitNetwork attack vectorHinoki check available

Authenticated file modification via avatar path traversal

Published Oct 19, 2025 · Updated Oct 19, 2025

Path traversal in e107 2.3.0 through 2.3.3 allows remote authenticated users to alter files through crafted avatar actions. The Avatar Handler at /e107_admin/image.php accepts multiaction[] path values without confining them to the intended avatar directory. A low-privileged account can reach the network endpoint without user interaction, with the published impact limited to file integrity and service availability.
