Internal service access via unchecked feed URL
Published Nov 5, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Server-side request forgery in WPeMatico RSS Feed Fetcher 2.8.11 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to access internal services. The wpematico_test_feed() AJAX handler passes a user-supplied feed URL into the server-side fetch path without capability, nonce, or private-address checks. Subscriber-level access is sufficient to make requests from the WordPress host and query or modify reachable internal services.
