Database access via unparameterized ORDER BY field
Published Oct 17, 2025 · Updated Oct 17, 2025
SQL injection in Shenzhen Streamax Technology's Streamax Crocus 1.3.40 allows remote authenticated users to execute database queries through orderField. The DeviceStateController Query method passes orderField to a MyBatis mapper that substitutes it directly into the ORDER BY clause instead of binding it as data. Low-privilege network access is required; the proof of concept confirms a timing oracle but does not establish operating-system command execution.
