Authenticated SQL injection via unescaped sort field
Published Oct 17, 2025 · Updated Oct 17, 2025
SQL injection in Streamax Crocus 1.3.40 allows remote authenticated users to execute attacker-controlled SQL through orderField. The MemoryState.do Query handler passes orderField into sortField, whose MyBatis mapper substitutes it directly into an ORDER BY clause without binding or validation. An accepted Saffron.U cookie reaches the endpoint; the published proof of concept uses a forged cookie and time-delay query, with consequences bounded by the database account's privileges.
