Authenticated script injection via unneutralized profile parameters
Published Feb 12, 2025 · Updated Feb 12, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Code Projects Job Recruitment 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject script into another user's page. The /_parse/load_user-profile.php handler accepts multiple attacker-controlled parameters without adequate neutralization during page generation; public records do not identify the parameters or output statement. A low-privileged account and passive interaction by another user are required, and the demonstrated consequence is modification of browser-rendered content.
