CVE-2025-11892Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Account takeover via unsanitized Issues label filter

Published Nov 10, 2025 · Updated Nov 10, 2025

DOM-based XSS in GitHub Enterprise Server allows remote attackers to execute code in another user's browser via a crafted Issues search URL. The Issues search view injects a malicious label: filter value into the DOM without proper sanitization. Exploitation requires network access to the instance and a sudo-mode user to follow the link, granting the injected code that user's elevated session context.
