Code injection in QNAP Malware Remover 6.6.x allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code as root through a crafted network request. The malware_remover.cgi endpoint passes a user-supplied string into Python execution without validating or neutralizing code syntax. Authentication and user interaction are not required; successful exploitation grants root-level control of the NAS.
