Account takeover via unauthenticated email log disclosure
Published Nov 1, 2025 · Updated Nov 1, 2025
Missing authorization in Post SMTP 3.6.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read logged emails through an unauthenticated log request. The PostmanEmailLogs constructor renders a requested log entry without checking the caller's capability. No account is required; exposed password-reset links allow takeover of the corresponding WordPress accounts.
