Stored XSS via unescaped shortcode style attribute
Published Nov 4, 2025 · Updated Nov 4, 2025
Stored XSS in REDQ Reuse Builder 1.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through the title shortcode. The reuse_builder_single_post_title shortcode places its style input into an HTML style attribute without sufficient sanitization or output escaping. Contributor-level access is required, and the injected script runs in the browser of each user who opens the affected page.
