Authenticated command execution via unsanitized diagnostic parameters
Published Dec 2, 2025 · Updated Dec 2, 2025
OS command injection in Circutor SGE-PLC1000 9.0.2 and SGE-PLC50 9.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. The GetDNS, CheckPing, and TraceRoute handlers in index.cgi insert the dns, ping, or traceroute parameter into an sprintf-built shell command and pass it to popen without validation or metacharacter neutralization. Exploitation requires low-privileged network access and active user interaction; injected commands execute with the privileges of index.cgi.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
