Authenticated code execution via unbounded username copy
Published Dec 2, 2025 · Updated Dec 2, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Circutor SGE-PLC1000 and SGE-PLC50 9.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The index.cgi AddEvent() function passes the user parameter from failed or successful login handling to strcpy(), which copies it into a 48-byte event-message buffer without a length check. Adjacent-network access and low privileges are required, and successful memory corruption can execute attacker-controlled code on the device.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
