Stored script execution via unescaped book names
Published Feb 11, 2025 · Updated Feb 11, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in 1000 Projects Bookstore Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script in users' browsers. process_book_add.php stores the Add Book form's Book Name value without effective neutralization, and the admin and front-end book views render it as executable markup. Administrator access is required to plant the value, and script execution occurs when another user views the stored book entry in a browser.
