Unauthenticated configuration changes via unchecked settings handlers
Published Feb 19, 2026 · Updated Feb 19, 2026
Missing authorization in Aruba HiSpeed Cache 3.0.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to change plugin and WordPress settings. Multiple settings handlers accept unauthenticated requests and write plugin options or toggle cron jobs and debug mode without checking caller capabilities. No account or user interaction is required; successful requests can alter cache behavior and WordPress runtime configuration but do not grant code execution.
